Hari Raya started yesterday..

Which only means it's less then a month to Deepavali!!*cue homemade Kueh Tarts, Steam cake, Orange cake, London cookies* Woosh! I is superrrr excited! I love the whole vibe in the house the week before deepavali.. The moment I reach the 10th floor I can already guess which kueh my mom would be making.. The late night shopping for decorations and tons of candles. The countless trips to Giant to buy boxes of bottled drinks and stacks of beer (lol). The last min Shopping for bangles and pottus. My mom and dad in the kitchen at midnight making their famous steam cake with tons of brandy. Falling asleep on the couch with henna on my hands while the tv is still playing.

OMG I IS EXCITED!!!!!!!!!!!

So now... How am I to apply for my leave? Will they think I'm an Idiot if I asked them like one month in advance? LOL
